UNH Extension Natural Resources Team Leader Jeff Schloss is retiring. Jeff played an integral role in the diagnosis and treatment of water quality challenges in Chocorua Lake in the later 1990s. Dwight Baldwin, a longtime CLC water quality volunteer, has shared this letter of gratitude to Jeff.

Chocorua Mountain Club receives trail work support from White Mountain Trail Collective
The Chocorua Mountain Club has announced it is receiving support from the White Mountain Trail Collective that equals $110,000 for significant trail work to be completed on the Old Paugus and Paugus Beeline trails in Chocorua. The work is in partnership with the White Mountain National Forest, Saco Ranger District, as well as the Sandwich Range Wilderness Project.
