This report summarizes the water quality of Chocorua Lake for 2011.
Particularly interesting was the effect of Hurricane Irene in late August of 2011 (see page 47) on the lake-water quality as well as the long-term positive effect of installation of best management practices on the eastern shore in 1999. This "berm and swale" project was designed to limit phosphorus input and thus algal growth/chlorophyll-a concentrations in the lake (see pages 49 and 51).
