Interested in what goes into maintaining the beautiful outdoor places we are so lucky to enjoy in this region? Curious about land conservation and stewardship? Want to meet other young people who enjoy time outdoors and giving back to the natural world that sustains us?
On Thursday, April 17 from 5:30–7 PM, join Chocorua Lake Conservancy for a Next Gen Pizza Night at the Chocorua Lake Conservancy office on Runnells Lane in Chocorua, across from the Chocorua Library. Come visit with other folks interested in outdoor recreation and land conservation and learn about volunteer opportunities with CLC. Pizza, beer, mead, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Bring a snack or salad to share, if you like. Please let us know you are coming via the form above so we have plenty of food and drink for everyone.
For over fifty years, volunteers in our community have taken action to protect ecological health and create publicly-accessible natural spaces at Chocorua Lake and on nearby conservation lands. Today, we face new and complex challenges, including climate change. Proactive and continuous efforts are needed to ensure that these beautiful spaces thrive for generations to come. Come have supper with us and hear how you can get involved, including: clearing trails, serving on a committee, watering plantings, planning an event, or spending an hour or two picking up litter!
