Volunteers make possible many facets of the Chocorua Lake Conservancy’s stewardship work. They come to know the organization well and we are grateful for the ideas and guidance they share with us.
On Tuesday, May 24, from 9-10:30AM at the Cook Memorial Library in Tamworth, the Chocorua Lake Conservancy (CLC) invites current and prospective CLC volunteers to join CLC staff and board members behind the Cook Memorial Library in Tamworth for conversation, tea and coffee, and light breakfast treats. We’ll begin with a fun observation activity, and learn to identify a couple of our spring wildflowers with CLC Stewardship Director Lynne Flaccus. CLC staff will share what we heard from volunteers at our last gathering and actions taken in response to volunteer questions and guidance, and we’ll offer a set of questions to guide this listening session. We hope you can join us! Please register in advance below so that we know how many people to expect.
