May is Stewardship Month
Slow as it has been to arrive, spring is here, and with it the need to steward Chocorua Lake Conservancy lands, help protect habitat for native flora and fauna, and clean up public access locations after the vagaries of winter, all opportunities to get exercise in the fresh air. Even under the State of New Hampshire’s “Stay at Home 2.0” order through May 31, which allows a staggered reopening of some businesses with physical distancing measurements in place, the CLC is planning no large gatherings. We could still use your help! If you are able to help out with any of these stewardship projects, we ask you to get in touch in advance by calling 603-323-6252 or emailing lflaccus@chocorualake.org, so that we can organize for you to work safely by yourself or with members of your household, let you know what tools and supplies you might need, and so that we can let you know if plans change. Thank you!
